This summer we will be tackling the Prudential Ride London in aid of Debbie Fund, a Cervical Cancer charity that is very close to our hearts. We will be cycling 100 miles looping from the Olympic park, up into the hills of Surrey and finishing back in London on The Mall. Having only recently made our debut to cycling this is looking to be quite a challenge but it is for a fantastic cause and we would greatly appreciate your support.
Debbie fund was set up in 2010 in memory of Debbie Philipps, a wonderful mother and close family friend of ours. Debbie died of Cervical Cancer aged just 48. During the progression of her disease, it became clear there was no dedicated research into a drug treatment specifically for Cervical Cancer. Due to the amazing efforts of Debbie Fund’s supporters over £1m has been raised in the last 7 years and a programme dedicated to this essential research Cervical Cancer is under way at UCL.
Any donations big and small are greatly appreciated. All of the money raised will be invested directly into this research to find better treatments for women like Debbie. If you want to find out more please follow this link: http://debbiefund.org/
Thanks for the support
