I am running this Bee Friendly Grow-A-Long for a number of reasons:

1) We are all stuck at home because of Covid, in need of fun. Lots of us want to do some gardening, but aren't lucky enough to be flower farmers!

2) I saw on BBC Look NorthWest that our local hospices are really going to struggle to raise funds this year because of all the cancelled charity runs etc. 

3) I have a stock of 30 packets of Higgledy Garden Bees Please flower seeds that I would normally have sold at my spring markets this year. Nothing is going to flower if they stay sat in my fridge so The Nectar Bar is donating them to this fundraiser and covering the cost of postage. 

4) We need beauty and bees, butterflies and pollinators need nectar! Simple as :)

5) Please share the progress of your flowers at my Facebook Page thenectarbarflowers otherwise it won't be a grow-a-long! I will create an event for it, to make it easy to find as the season progresses.

6) I need your address to post out the seeds. I'm not sure if JustGiving enables you to do that once you have made your donation so don't forget to send it to me at tnbflowers@gmail.com

7) I'm hoping to raise at least £250, so please give generously if you can afford it.
