Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and thank you for any money you can afford to give to this worthy cause. The Teenage Cancer Trust create world-class cancer services for young people in the UK, providing life-changing care and support so young people don’t have to face cancer alone (https://www.teenagecancertrust.org/)
Fyn, Mel and Kim are signed up to take part in the dumball rally in September this year - dumball is the world famous fancy dress festival on wheels!
The ultimate extreme driving challenge; we pimp up cars that have seen better days, and drive them for thousands of miles on the world's toughest roads. It's a test of endurance; we conquer whole continents, in a week. But what we're really famous for is the camaraderie, style and genuinely childish excitement with which we raise money for a great cause; The Teenage Cancer Trust. The dumball is not a race. There are no prizes for first place. We stick together in convoys, keeping in touch using short wave radios so we can banter en route and wherever we stop, the party starts!

All the details can be found on the website (http://dumball.org/) but in short, we get together with a group of like-minded strangers, we all buy a cheap car (£500 max), do it up beyond all belief, get in fancy dress, then drive in convoy to a faraway place; this year’s adventure will take us from Margate to Corfu over the course of 8 days.
Our chosen theme and team name... “The Ultra-Violet Knights”
THE DUMBALL IS NOT A HOLIDAY. It's a challenge and its highly likely we will breakdown, spend hours waiting for help and encounter weird locals or dodgy cops.
