The 14th July 1916 saw the only cavalry action of the entire Battle of the Somme. A group or Servicemen and Women, as well as Civilian Historian Riders will march over the 2 days in full kit the areas of the 1st of July battlefields and the route taken by the cavalry on the 14th July ending at the location of Highwood itself.
