Many of you already know but for those who don’t In Jan 2017 our lives changed forever when our crazy, adventurous, one of a kind wild child Theo Thunderbolt took seriously ill, at only 2yrs old he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes an auto immune disease which means his body is unable to produce a hormone called insulin that everybody needs to live, requiring multiple insulin injections daily. 

On 30th September he turns 4 and what better way to celebrate his birthday than to take part in the JDRF One Fun Run with his big brother to raise money for JDRF who provide so much support to newly diagnosed children/ families as well as continuously funding research into diabetes treatments and hopefully one day finding a cure.

 Ben and Theo are hoping to raise £100 each, although we as parents are running to as chaperones we’re not being sponsored but if anyone wanted to add on an extra couple of quid to their donation just to watch us make fools of ourselves that’s good to 😀
