This year I'm running the Lakes in a Day Ultra Marathon (www.lakesinaday.co.uk) which involves running almost the length of the Lake District National Park from North to South.  I'll be taking in Blencathra, Helvellyn and many other peaks along with 50 Miles and 4,000m of elevation gain.

I'm running with one of my best mates Simon who will be channeling his inner Wainwright and documenting our training in his blog.

We have chosen Yorkshire Cancer Research because it's a fantastic cause close to our hearts and in the county that we call home.
