Running for MDUK

London Marathon 2019 · 28 April 2019 ·
Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.
I am running the London marathon to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK who are leading the fight against muscle wasting conditions.
These conditions are very rare and can therefore go undiagnosed, leaving people without the support and care they should be given. Unfortunately this happened to my lovely step sister Lydiane. For a long time her condition was disregarded and overlooked. It worsened significantly before medical providers took it seriously and her condition has now drastically changed her life. Lydiane has faced these challenges with courage but more could have been done much earlier to make her life easier.
Any donations are gratefully received. I'll post some updates on my training for those who are interested. I have in the past taken my health for granted which is a luxury that so many people don't have. So I'll run my legs off and hopefully raise some cash and awareness for a fantastic charity.
Thanks
Tom
