Douglas Macmillan Hospice (Dougie Mac) is the only hospice in Staffordshire supporting Children, Young Adults & Adults. Care is given to patients who are living with a life-limiting illness at our two sites and in the community. We also provide support for patients families and their carers.

Story

Thanks
for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are raising money for
Douglas Macmillan Hospice which is a bri
lliant
local charity. This charity is one that I have been touched by
personally and I’m sure I can speak for everyone when I say the
care and compassion they offer to loved ones during their final moments
and the consideration to families and careers is outstanding. Everyday DMH
provides all hospice services free of charge to adults with life limiting
illnesses within North Staffordshire and provides respite for their families
and careers. This would not be possible without the commitment of the dedicated
team of staff and volunteers ensuring the services continue at the hospice and
out in the community.

We must not forget the hospice needs to raise
11 million this year to maintain the services with 75% of the money raised by
volunteers and donations.

Any donations will be gratefully received and
will go towards a very worthy cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally
secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or
send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the
charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting
costs for the charity.
