Here at Thumb Culture, a gaming online magazine, we are all about giving something back into the world, especially charities. We felt that, even though participating in our upcoming charity stream later this year is beneficial, we wanted to make this a permanent fixture in Thumb Culture. This way we will be constantly trying to raise awareness to those charities that are closest to the team’s hearts, through our website and streams. All revenue, donations etc will go straight to that charity, Thumb Culture will not gain any profit.

In 2019 we will be raising money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, chosen by Jas.

Jas was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy back when he was 23 years old.  Having suffered from hardly any symptoms it came as a huge shock to both himself and his family.  Simply put, if it had not been found when it was, he would not be here now. 

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions. With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.
