Event: London Marathon 2017, on 23 April 2017
We protect endangered mammals in the wild to build a better future for everyone

Story

I will be running the London Marathon in April 2017 to raise money for DSWF, while wearing a tiger costume (see above). I wore the jacket when playing Shere Khan in the rock-n-roll musical adaptation of the Jungle Book "Jungle Rock" back in 2015.

I have never run a marathon before, half-marathons are my longest distance so far. From the start of January to the start of the race I plan to get 300 miles of running into my legs to get ready for the big day.

The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) is a small, effective charity funding key conservation projects in Africa and Asia. Our mission is to increase awareness and to educate people around the world about the need to protect and conserve wild animals and their habitats. We fund conservation projects across Africa and Asia that fight wildlife crime, protect natural areas and engage local communities in finding.

So come on; sponsor the Tigers and see me ROOAARRRRR across the finish line
