Story

I was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2016 and underwent two operations to remove it, I was 17 years old and in the middle of doing my A Levels.  I became a young ambassador for the Brain Tumour Charity at the end of 2016. The Brain Tumour Charity is at the forefront of the fight to defeat brain tumours, making a difference every day to the lives of people with a brain tumour and their families. We fund pioneering research to increase survival, raise awareness of the symptoms and effects of brain tumours and provide support for everyone affected to improve quality of life. We are committed to having the biggest possible impact for every person affected by a brain tumour, and to defending the most amazing part of the human body.
I know  hands down how important it is to continue researching into treatments as treatments such as surgery, chemo-therapy and radio therapy have some life-hindering affects. . Brain tumuors have been recognised as the biggest cancer killer in children and the biggest cause of uneccessary blindness in young people.
