We are cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats on an 80's tandem, raising money for 3 worthy charities. This page is for the Royal Latin Sports Hall fund (as my daughters attend the Latin); we have another 2 pages for CLIC Sargent and for CdLS Foundation UK. Please have a look at our other pages. Our wish is to raise roughly equal sums for all 3 charities.

Why 80's / 8Ts? Was it all part of a carefully considered and well thought out plan? Nope. The reality is that we're doing this on a shoestring and 80's tandems on ebay are (worryingly) cheap. The planning story is on our CdLS page; suffice to say, we've still not decided yet which (of the two) sheds we're going to take. In the white corner is Graeme's steed, proudly made in West Germany (so, well before The Hoff was busy reunifying Germany). In the red, white and blue corner is my (t)rusty Thompson which, for the sake of stretching 80's references, has been named Daley.

What's the worst that can happen on a 1000 mile journey with a £75 bike? We'll soon find out.....
