Lyke wake Walk · 27 September 2015

Hull Animal Welfare Trust was established in 1982. In those 30 years, the Trust has taken in, cared for and re-homed thousands of animals; mainly dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. The Trust is based at South Cave and has minimal paid staff, fully supported by a band of dedicated volunteers.

Story

Our Dealer Principal walks into the showroom one day and says to the Financial Director "Fancy doing a walk?"

FD - "But I only walk with my dogs"

DP - "But you haven't got dogs anymore"

FD - "No I know"

DP - "Well lets do it for Hull Animal Welfare"

And so the plan was hatched for most of the Miles Kingsport staff to take up the challenge to walk across the North Yorkshire Moors in late September 2015. Starting in Osmotherley and head to Ravenscar on the coast. So the training begins!

The team consisting of Andy, Rachel, Tim, Julian, Chris  and a couple of friends will all start the adventure at 11pm on Saturday September 26th....
