Instead of having a wedding list, we are asking anyone who wants to give us a gift to make a donation to Lifeblood. Lifeblood: The Thrombosis Charity aims to increase awareness of thrombosis among the public and health professionals and to raise research funds to improve patient care.

In 2003, at the age of 45, Varie's mum very sadly passed away due to a pulmonary thromboembolism. On one of the most important days of our lives, we would like to remember Varie's mum, who can't be there to share the day with us.
