September 3rd 2012 and probably the toughest challenge race I am ever likely to toe the starting line of, a self sufficient traverse across the mountains of Wales from north coast to south. 

The Dragons Back is a staged mountain race that has been resurrected 20 years after the first and so far only event.

The 2012 course will follow the original route closely, starting at Conwy Castle in the north and tracing the mountainous spine of Wales southwards, over 5 days with the optimum route being approximately 200 miles and 45,000 feet of ascent, to finish at Carreg Cennen Castle. An incredible journey.

So please dig deep into the coffers and donate now, it's real easy to give a little and enormously rewarding.
