In the lead up to the bike ride I will be updating this page with my progress of training myself for the bike ride. so you can keep up to date with my journey as I make it!

So...why did I decide to do the bike ride? well, initially i went to the BHF website looking for training tips for long distance cycling for a long journey I'm considering this year. But while looking at the page, I decided that I wanted to do something for charity this year, and as i'm starting to get more and more into my cycling...why not take on the London to Brighton bike ride! so here I am now, with my own sponsorship page...as you can see my current target is £250, so hopefully with your help and support i can reach that goal!

Training update: done two days of cycling on roads now. What a difference to the redways i'm used to! left knee is aching a bit, but still positive I can do this. 37.69miles as a total for the weekend. ~25 of which on roads.

Training update: 3 days off training while on a trip...Time to get back out there for roughly 20 Miles today!

Training update: 41.15 miles done over 2 days, legs hurting a bit...need a sports massage I think!

Fundraising Update: wow! target has been reached already! thats fantastic. Thank you to everyone for your support and donations. Fingers crossed I can get that total even higher now! Raised my fundraising bar to £250 now....lets see if I can get there!

Training Update: 27.33 miles done today....over half the London to Brighton distance!

Training Update: 83.91 Miles done this week, feeling good about it so far...aiming for over 100 next week :D time for 3 days R & R in Plymouth!

Training Update: 200.24 miles as a total for the Easter Holidays, completed over 15 and a half hours of cycling. very proud of myself, very worn out, very ready for a rest!

Fundraising Update: Amazing! target reached again! thank you to everyone who has donated, and a big thank you to those of you who have donated offline. The target will remain at £250 but lets see how much over the target I can get now! bring on £300, lets see if I can make it there with your support. Thank you so much!

Training Update: Phew...first time out training on a weekend in a while...went well, 33.65 miles done, no aches and pains! result!!

Training Update: Shoulder hurting, taking the training easy at the moment, don't want to set myself back, only 28.68 Miles done today.
