Jump Down on Cancer-World Record attempt · 20 June 2015

As the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping people affected by Rb, we provide support and information to families and individuals, fund research into the prevention and treatment of retinoblastoma, raise awareness among health professionals and the public and influence policy to improve services.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Simon is going to jump out of a plane at 15,000ft (highest without needing oxygen).

Awareness to other parents for retinoblastoma is very important to us, as we could have saved much more of our sons sight if we had known the signs of Rb or that it even existed.  Therefore, we are raising funds for CHECT, as without them, there would be no awareness campaigns and no research into new treatments.  Taylor has now had his right eye removed, showing signs of possibly entering the blood vessels and is therefore, needing to have another 4 rounds of chemotherapy at 3week intervals starting on Monday.  The jump has been postponed due to poor weather - should be 1st August now.
