Story

“We make a living by what we get,

But we make a life by what we give.”

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This project means a lot to me and I would love for you to be a part of it !

In June 2021, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the worlds tallest freestanding mountain : 5895m above sea level. My climb is in aid of the Meningitis Research Foundation, a charity which aims to research and raise awareness of two serious diseases : Meningitis and Septicaemia.

Meningitis and neonatal sepsis are the second biggest infectious killer of children under the age of five on the planet, affecting more than 2.8 million people every year. They can kill within 12 hours and are responsible for more deaths of children under 5 than malaria, measles, tetanus and AIDS combined. Meningitis Research Foundations' hard work and dedication is providing better access to vaccines, health systems that can diagnose and treat children, and support to survivors of meningitis.

Its time to make meningitis a global health priority and help those in need. If you would like to make a difference with me, please make a donation on this page. Every penny counts !

Thank you so much for your support without which this incredible adventure would not be possible !
