Ryan Watts, Gavin Fulleylove and their team mates from down under, David Taylor and Ray Hobbs are team ‘To Khan and Beyond’

On the 16th July 2017 ‘To Khan and Beyond’ will set off on an amazing adventure, driving 10,000 miles across 18 countries as we take on the infamous Mongol Rally.

Our chosen vehicle for this mammoth journey is a purple Daihatsu Terios (Terry) which has a 1300cc engine and no where near enough space for four guys and all the gear we need to take with us to survive.

We will have no help along the way, no backup vehicle, no roadside assistance from the AA, just a spare tyre and some duct tape.

Our very rough route (just head east) will start with a quick ferry to France, driving down through Europe, across Turkey to Georgia and Armenia. Then the real fun begins as we travel across Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakstan, Russia and Mongolia. We expect that this will take us around 6 weeks as long as we don’t get lost too much, have major car trouble or get detained by the authorities in any country along the way.

So when we FINALLY complete this journey…….we are going to turn the car around and drive it back home to the UK through Russia!  Hopefully 'Terry' will get us back home in one piece.

Gavin and Ryan will be raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK so this is where we need the help of our generous friends and family to donate what you can to support this very important cause.  So please help us smash our donations target.
