This summer, I am running the British 10k in London to raise money for the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Special Purpose Fund at Barts and the London Charity.

Barts Cancer Centre see approximately 350 new patients each year. Around 60 of these patients are referred to them with leukaemia and last year, my friend's dad was one of them.

Inspired by his family's courage, determination and bravery, I wanted to do something to raise money to help further their fantastic work.  Check out our team page to see our group total!

Barts Cancer Centre is at the forefront of pioneering new treatments for blood cancers and their specialists are internationally recognised for the treatment and care of patients with all types of blood cancer. Their team has been instrumental in the design and execution of new and exciting treatment approaches, many of which are now used routinely.
