We provide specialist palliative care to comfort patients and their families

Story

The Blears family  will be taking on The World Heritage Walk to raise funds for Nightingale House in Memory of Tom. This years challenge is  a distinctive 13 mile* walk through beautiful scenery along the legendary towpaths and footpaths of Llangollen and Oswestry, an area steeped in local heritage.

Nightingale house hospice cared so wonderfully well for Tom, and we want to do what we can to make sure they can continue to support other families.

This years route starts at Lions Quays in Oswestry takes in some, breathtaking scenery , including the iconic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Chirk Aqueduct, Trevor Basin and the Chirk Tunnel finishing at the Chain Bridge Hotel in Llangollen.

For over 25 years staff at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together. Not having to worry about the care a loved one receives, knowing they are in safe hands means every second spent together is dignified and peaceful. Without support such as yours, our specialist palliative care units wouldn’t be able to deliver such high standards.

Please donate whatever you can. All donations very much appreciated.
