“The Last Chance to Live” for unclaimed lost and abandoned pound dogs due for destruction who have received no rescue offers. Over 15,000 dogs saved who would otherwise have died. 100% of donations spent directly on the dogs. Unconditional rescue regardless of age, breed or veterinary condition.

Story

I (Toni) will be organising a sponsored dog walk and EVERYONE is invited to join me, with or without a dog as there will be rescue dogs there to lend a paw for those who wish to be sponsored. With help from friends we will have an onsite Microchip stall where you can get your 4 legged friend chipped. There will be a raffle and little doggy games for you to both enjoy as well as the walk around a beautiful meadow.

Doris Banham was a dedicated animal lover throughout her life who sadly died in November 2001. The following year in June 2002 her daughter, Trudie James, decided to honour her life
and dedication to animals by establishing The Doris Banham Sanctuary.
The charity was set up to help all animals, but as we became increasingly aware of the heart breaking needless destruction of unclaimed dogs in dog pounds, we vowed to help them and the charity has developed to provide an essential life saving rescue service for these forgotten dogs.
We are a non-profit organisation and rely totally on fundraising and donations to save these animals.

Please dig deep to keep these little noses wet and their tails wagging.

All this will be happening at Westwood Lakes,Boston, Lincolnshire. There is an onsite Cafe (Fishermans Rest) where you can warm up and relax with a Brew and a snack after all the excitement of the day.
