Story

Tony died on Saturday 30th July 2011 after a mercifully brief battle with cancer.

He died at home with his family at his bedside.

During his final days, staff from the Shakespeare Hospice at Home team came in every day to care for him. We are sure that their care and medical expertise made him as comfortable as he possibly could have been.

The help that they gave us as a family was indispensible. The support and information that they gave helped us through a terrible time.

The dedication of the nurses went well beyond the call of duty, you just knew that this wasn't only a day job to them. The genuine care and compassion that we all felt from them made it so much easier to bare.

These people deserve medals, but for now, they need your money. They do not charge a penny for their services, and are almost entirely funded by charitable donations. Please send whatever you can afford.

Many thanks,

The Copeland Family.
