Story

Tony aka “Tony Lug” “Tony Fish” was born on 2nd December 1952 and sadly passed on 14th September 2020 returning from the place he loved; the beach. Tony’s family miss him dearly.

We know that Tony’s passing is a great loss to the fishing community and the beaches in Merseyside.

We (Tony’s family) have set up this page in his memory.

We have chosen to raise money for the Fishermen's Mission, instead of accepting flowers for his funeral, as the work of the Fishermen's Mission is in fitting with Tony’s interests and values.

Unfortunately, we are unable to celebrate Tony’s life at a wake on the day of his funeral so if you would like to toast Tony and donate the cost of a pint this would really help the Fisherman’s Mission. We do hope to plan a memorial service at a later date.

Tony would have wanted to help fishermen in any way he could so any donations will be greatly appreciated.
