Cancer, putting it politely, is a bit of a prick. It has turned my world upside down and I can guarantee that it will have affected almost every single one of you reading this as well.

Never one to let things lie, or go down without a fight, I decided to do something about it. I can't cure it, I refuse to shave my hair off and I'm done with coffee mornings. Joe and I will be hiking a marathon from Brighton to Eastbourne- which certainly won't be as easy as I've convinced myself that it will.

This is where you lovely lot come in; our hike will be made 10000% easier if every mile we clock we can not only hear a 'kaching' in our heads but also imagine the difference we alone can make in other people's lives. Macmillan can be a lifesaving service to so many people throughout the UK and offer so many amazing services (even when some people can be too stubborn to take them up on it...naming no names).

We have to raise a whopping £500 to do the hike in the first place, but I know we can do it! No donation is too small as everything adds up, so even if you just have a £1 to spare we would be eternally grateful.
