RHINO CHARGE 2017 · 1 June 2017

Rhino Ark raises money for the building of electric eco-fences around mountain ecosystems in Kenya, namely Aberdare National Park, Mt. Kenya and Mau Eburu. These provide an "ark" for wildlife such as rhino, leopard, elephant and mountain bongo as well as protecting vital upland watertables of Kenya

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rhino Ark will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Why sponsor us? Here's a good reason... ...all funds raised will go towards protecting the Eburru forest and the wildlife, including the rare and elusive Bongo, in this fragile ecosystem. The Eburru Forest is one of the larger forest and mountain eco systems in Kenya. As a part of the Greater Mau escaprment many Kenyans are dependant on the Eburru rainfall, vegetation and its rivers. The fence ensures protection of this forest as well as protecting Kenya's endangered Bongo antelope. The Rhino Charge is a sporting event where a restricted number of entrants drive four wheel drive cars and tackle impossible terrain to complete the shortest distance between 13 points by travelling in as straight a line as possible. This is a team that is dedicated to helping the environment and protecting the future of Kenya and the Kenyan people. The Rhino Charge Event has in the past been covered by all major Kenyan publications including Msafiri, DSTV, MNET, Transworld Sport and National Geographic amongst others so advertisers normally get good exposure. Many thanks for your kind support. We need your help. Team 28
