Story

Thank you for continuing to support Torquay Salvation Army through the pandemic. As we move into a phase of relaunching some of our other activities this page will close for donations on 31 July 2021.

Please continue to support the whole spectrum of Salvation Army Mission in Torquay by donating via our other JustGiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/torquay-salvation-army or by making donations in person.

The Salvation Army in Torquay have been supporting the Torquay community for over 135 years through our church and community outreach.

Coronavirus

During the Coronavirus pandemic we have teamed up with the Torbay Council to become a food hub for Torquay and a member of the Torbay Food Alliance, so that we can provide co-ordinated support to people who are struggling to access food. These people may be self-isolating, have no money to buy food, or have lost their usual support networks. This will help the poorest and most vulnerable in our community.  Without this support, many people will go without food; which is essential to them staying healthy and well.

By supporting us now with your kind donations you are enabling us to provide provision for those most in need at a time when the need has never been greater in our local community.

We believe in compassion, love and hope for everybody.
