This is my first and no doubt my only marathon!!  I decided to set myself a personal challenge,I shall not be up there with the fastest but will be take a steady pace just to make sure I finish it.

I have decided to raise some money for Action for Children as this is an important charity that helps children and young people in the UK in a variety of ways.  They support children in care in a variety of ways either by finding them foster families, residential units and also they are a registered adoption agency.  They also provide much needed support for families and help disabled children and young people facing servere difficulties.
