I have chosen Sebastians Action Trust as my charity due to the amazing work they do. They have been a great help to my brothers family. My brother has a little girl called Lily who was diagnosed with Leukemia at 10 months old and is now 4 years old and in remission.

 Sebastian Action Trust helped in many ways from getting household objects that would keep dust and germs right down to taking Lily for her hospital appointments so that her parents can sit with her so they didn't have any other worries. They also arranged days out for her older brother and sister with children there own age and also sent the family on a holiday at a house called The BlueBells where they spend other families.

As a way of saying thank you and also a way to help them help others i am raising money by walking the west highland way starting on the 1st September and the walk will take 5 days.

Day 1; I will starting the walk From Glasgow to Milngavie a walk as known as the Kelvin Walk which is 10.75 miles/17.5Km. Then on to The west highland way on to Drymen, another 12 miles/ 19.3Km with an ascent of 300ft/90 metres

 

Day 2: From Drymen to Rowardennan a walk that is 14 miles/22.5 with an ascent of 1200 ft/360 metres.

Day 3: i will be walking From Rowardennan to Crianlarich 21miles/33.8Km with an ascent of 1500 ft/450 metres

Day 4: Crianlarich to Kinghouse in Glencoe walking 27miles/43.5Km with an ascent of 2100ft/630 metres

Day 5: The final walk will be from Glencoe to Fort  William 22.5 miles/36Km with an ascent of 2100ft/360 metres.
