Story

The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.

When the first lockdown began lots of people struggled without the escapism that watching, supporting or playing the beautiful game provides. With the football world being stopped, many felt empty without their routine trip to their clubs on the weekend.

Between the 25th and 31st of October we will be travelling to each and every one of the 92 professional football stadiums from the Premier League to the EFL League 2- to celebrate the amazing impact the return of football has had on so many peoples lives, with all donations we raise being sent to the great work that the people at CALM do.

About the charity

We’re the Campaign Against Living Miserably and we’re taking a stand against suicide. That means standing against feeling hopeless, standing up to stereotypes and showing life is always worth living.125 lives are lost every week to suicide. 75% of all UK suicides are male. We exist to change this.
