Trekking the Wolds & Making memories count !!
"I’m turning 50 this year—though I’m still trying to find out who authorized that one! To mark the half-century, I decided I wanted to do something truly worthwhile.
As a carer, I see firsthand the challenges of supporting those who need it most. I know how precious memories are and how vital it is to have the right support in place when they start to fade.
So I’ve teamed up with two of my wonderful neighbors here in Drakes Broughton ,my father john &(hopefully a few more will join us on the way)
We will be taking on the Alzheimer’s Trek through the Cotswolds.
We’ll be trading our quiet village streets for some serious miles and Cotswold hills. While my knees might question my decision to do this at 50! my heart is 100% in it.
Every penny raised goes directly to the Alzheimer’s Society to fund research and support for families living with dementia. If you can spare a few pounds to celebrate my big 50 and support this cause, it would mean the world to me (and might even make those hills feel a bit flatter!).
