It is scary when you hear statistics on the radio about how many people are affected by dementia and that it is not curable.

It is even more scary when you realise that people in your life, that you love and care about, have been affected by this dreadful disease.

My Nan has had dementia for many years but more recently my boss, a very close friend, has been diagnosed and is only 67 years old. I am doing this walk at part of 'The Unforgettable's' team to raise money in the hope that one day we will know more and be able to treat dementia.
