As most of you know I lost my brother Matthew to early onset dementia in 2021. Aged 34. The way it changed him as a person and to watch someone so young and energetic deteriorate the way he did was horrendous. Robbed of his speech, use of his arms to not being able to walk all while still having the capacity to understand what was happening to him. Locked in almost. He left behind 2 beautiful children, family and friends who adored him. I would love to believe there is a future where no other families have to watch their loved ones suffer this way.. I’ve decided to take part in a 26 mile walk through Snowdonia with a 990m elevation gain to help raise money for Alzheimer’s research. (I’ve not even done pen y fan before so should be interesting) lol. I’m hoping to raise the target amount of £300 for the charity. Anyone who would like to donate I would be so grateful, thank you 🙏 😊
