Robert's story

As you may know, caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s can be an incredibly challenging journey. Until December, we were providing care for my wife’s father at home, but he has since moved into a nursing home. Alzheimer’s is a cruel and devastating condition that affects not only those diagnosed but also their families and friends.

I am committed to raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Society, an organization dedicated to creating a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They provide essential support to those living with dementia today while also campaigning for the future, ensuring that dementia receives the attention it deserves and funding groundbreaking research.

On May 9th, 2026, I will be participating in the "Trek26 London 2026 - 13 miles" event to raise awareness and funds for this vital cause. My target is to raise £200 to help support the incredible work of the Alzheimer’s Society.
