On the 12th July, I'll be joining up with Helen Collard for Trek26 - 13 miles across the Yorkshire Moors 👍🏼 Raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society 👟

This is close to our hearts, as my brother, Lee (Helen's husband, Edie's Dad) was diagnosed with Young Onset Dementia a few months back, at the age of 55.

Lee and myself lost our Dad (Jim) to dementia 18 months ago.....but it's not quite groundhog day - Young Onset Dementia runs differently.

It was a long journey of 3-4 years to reach this diagnosis but with more funding, training and awareness of this disease, we hope that the future is more supportive and positive for all affected.
