It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.

Story

On Tuesday 2nd November 2021, Oisín Wilson (aged 8) and his mummy Aisling were in a road traffic accident on the way home from school.  Oisín’s mummy died in the accident and Oisín received the best care from the roadside emergency services and the air ambulance crew.  Sadly, despite the efforts of the medical team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Oisín did not regain consciousness.

Oisín’s daddy, Matthew, has asked that if anyone would like to support the him and the wider family at this devastating time to please consider a donation to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital in Oisín’s name.

We hope that this tribute to Oisín and Aisling will show the emergency
teams and the medical team at the hospital how much their efforts to save
Oisín means to the Matthew and all family.
