Participating in legs 5 and 8 of The Clipper Round The World Yacht Race, is a great personal challenge and it gives me an opportunity to raise money for a charity that is dear to my heart.  The charity that I have chosen is Cork ARC cancer support which provides a safe haven for people with cancer and their families.  It was established to provide a holistic centre, in which people affected by cancer can find emotional support, practical help and trust.

As somebody whose family has recently been touched by cancer, I'm aware of this great facility that is Cork ARC. If you feel moved to donate to Cork Arc, any amount no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
