In early 2009 my mother Audrey Makin and my wife Jean Makin were both diagnosed with cancer. My mother passed away in May of 2009 and my wife passed away in March 2010 and I decided I wanted to do something to raise money for Cancer Research and entered the Liverpool Half Marathon (13.1 miles). The Half Marathon is held on 27^th March and marks the first anniversary of the loss of Jean and I hope with your help we can make a generous donation to the North West Cancer Research Fund. – Paul Makin
