Mind - The Mental Health Charity

We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Today. Now. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support and advice, and fight your corner.

Charity Registration No. 219830

A team of students from the University of London Institute in Paris will be cycling from the Eiffel Tower to Blackpool tower in June 2019 to raise money for Mind.

As students, Mind and the work they do for dealing with student mental health issues are very important to us. We're all nervous/excited about this years ride, which we know is going to be physically and mentally draining, so please help us, and Mind, by donating generously.

You can find more information on how fundraising is going by heading over to our Facebook page where we post all our fundraising and photos from our workouts etc

Tim Gore OBE, CEO of the University of London Institute in Paris

“The University of London Institute in Paris fully supports the Tower to Tower student initiative to raise funds for the charity Mind. It’s great that they are putting their physical fitness to the test in order to help make sure that people with mental health issues get the attention and support they need. Our students are full of enthusiasm and energy and we wish them all the best in raising funds for this worthy cause.”

Callum Rye, Bike Ride Committee Chair 2016

"I can't actually believe we're doing this again. However from last years experience, it was absolutely fantastic! I'm extremely proud to be heading this years bike ride, and even more so for doing it again! I know the team will be just as brilliant this year, keep those donations coming, so we can raise even more money for such a good cause! Thank you!"

Karen Bolton, Head of Community & Events Fundraising for Mind

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the ULIP Tower to Tower cyclists for taking on this fantastic challenge and choosing to fundraise for Mind. Setting out on this gruelling journey is not only an amazing achievement in itself, it's also a brilliant way to help break down the stigma that still surrounds mental health and highlight the positive impact physical activity can have on mental wellbeing. Every penny the Tower to Tower team raises will fund Mind’s vital work including the Mind Infoline, our advice services and the campaigning Mind does to secure a better deal for the one in four of us who experience a mental health problem every year.”

Sophie Boyle, Bike Ride Committee Chair 2017

After last years ride I am so excited to start planning our 2017 ride, all the new opportunities we have for this year and all the wonderful new people that will be involved in our journey. I'm really hoping that this year we will make it to our £10,000 target!

Sophie Boyle, Bike Ride Committee Chair 2018

I can't believe we're already back organising for the 2018 ride, which will also be my final ride. Its been such a pleasure raising money for such a deserving charity and I'm looking forward to reaching Blackpool with a new team of committed riders and helpers!

Harriette Dulake, Bike Ride Committee Chair 2019

Organising the 5th Bike Ride in 2019 for such a great cause is an exciting task! With a lot of new team members we hope this year will be as successful as previous rides and with a new fundraising target we are determined to raise as much money as possible for Mind UK.
