On 15th June 2020 I was diagnosed with a tumour in my oesophagus, on further investigation I was told that I had Cancer and it it had already spread to other parts of my body.

Staying positive on 20th July 2020 I started a very intense program of Chemo therapy at Cheltenham Oncology dept. The treatment lasted until 3rd November when I was admitted to the oncology department at Cheltenham General Hospital., due to blood pressure issues. My stay was for 24 days.

During that period I had a PET scan and another Endoscopy. Much to the surprise of all the doctors looking after me there are now no signs of Tumour or other signs where it had first spread. I am now back home building my strength up, ready for my road ahead.

The support that the Focus centre at Cheltenham General Oncology Department has been no end of help to Linda and I, so that is my chosen charity that I feel that I would like to help.

My Sister is making another Uber Blanket made from Uber Moose t shirt this will be put in a raffle and at the end of the fund raiser will be given at random to anyone who has donated, irrelevant of amount.

I am further up the road to remission.
