We are part of an NCS team from Rotherham, throughout the week we’ve had sessions and workshops run by South Yorkshire Fire Service. Our workshops have included learning about fire, road and water safety, fitness, nutrition and mental health. 

As we have been working closely with the fire service, it’s been inspiring to hear all the ways which they work within the community and the firefighters charity is a valuable resource that the fire service can use which supports them in rehabilitation and injury from frontline work, mental health and social wellbeing.

To achieve this we are carrying out a sponsored walk on Friday the 28th of August 2020 from Maltby fire station to the New York stadium to Rotherham fire station. We are going to be vlogging this and hopefully interviewing fire fighters. Keep your eyes pealed for our vlog coming soon!
