Story

Unity for Hope (UFH) 2022 is a fundraising event, which is taking place from 24th – 30th October 2022. The event is being organised by Uniphar employees to support cancer patients and to remember those who have lost their lives to the disease. The Uniphar global community of staff, friends, family and customers are joining forces and are passing on the ‘baton of hope’ to support this year’s chosen charity partners. Aim: To achieve 15,000,000 steps (or equivalent in wheel rotations for the cyclists) to raise €200,000 for our 7 Charities. We’re asking everybody to take on the challenge of reaching the highest per capita number of steps to reach their goal. Charities: We have chosen seven cancer charities covering Ireland, UK, Europe, US and Australia which will benefit from this great event. 1. Irish Cancer Society (Ire) 2. St. Francis Hospice (Ire) 3. Childhood Cancer International – Europe 4. Teenage Cancer Trust (UK) 5. American Cancer Society (US) 6. Cancer Council (Aus) 7. Cancer Focus Northern Ireland (UK) This is a wonderful opportunity for us to give back every year. It’s also a great way to get to spend time with colleagues in a hybrid working world. To donate to these amazing charities, you can donate directly to the charity or join the team below and start your own fundraising journey! Best of luck to everybody and thank you for your support!
