Story
Alexis Corker... our beautiful, courageous, talented sister.
Alexis was diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukeamia in August 2015. At Hammersmith's Hospital she lost her battle after a long and painful year of treatment. She was taken too young. She is remembered through her two young children Evie and Eloïse.
Alexis's love of music spun throughout her whole life. From being a young girl constantly sat at the piano. After reading MA in Modern Languages at Oxford University she then went on to Trinity College of Music and trained in classical piano with Alexander Ardakov. Alexis then won a scholarship to study jazz and her final recital was written by world renowned composer and pianist Michael Garrick entitled "Suite for Alexis".
Alexis's life touched may people from all over the world through her travels. She was loved by many and so many people are feeling her loss. We would love to give back to the hospital that has helped her through this painful year.
I am truly blessed to have been her sister, as all my siblings feel too. We would love to raise money so that this horrific disease can be eradicated, to stop other siblings, children, parents and friends feeling this pain and heartbreak.
