This is the fifth year of our fund-raising efforts for the  Cancer fund for Children and the cycle just keeps going from strength to strength from its outset five years ago until last year we have now reached over 300 participants and over £15,000 raised in a very short space of time. Last year our mascot Cian McGrath led the ride out and large group of cyclists, from clubs all over Ireland, from Dunmurry. Cian will lead our ride out again this year as a healthy young man and proof that every penny raised is worth every single pedal stroke. So please join us for our leisure cycle at only 50km long Leaving from the Balmoral Hotel, Blacks Road, Belfast, it caters for all abilities and provides a friendly fun day out for all clubs and groups just looking to enjoy that social side of things. This year we will have a kids cycle which will incorporate a slightly shorter ride but will ride out with the adults and will rejoin them later and cycle back in with them  to the Hotel. The flat route provides plenty of opportunities to catch up with old friends and make plenty of new ones along the way. After the ride we supply a wonderful spread of tea, coffee and treats for all the hungry competitors, there is also a large bar area for the chance to purchase even stronger refreshments if you so wish. All we ask is a minimum £10 donation for a wonderful charity which all proceeds go straight to the club receives none of the monies collected and all competitors are welcome to join us that evening for our annual club awards night.
