We are raising funds for Buckinghamshire Health Care NHS Trust in Valerie's memory as she received such fantasic care from them after a short illness with Leukaemia. 

The kindness and care she received from the High Wycombe District Nurses, the Sunshine Unit at Wycombe Hospital, Ward 5 and the Acute Medical Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital made an extremely difficult time more bearable.

As most of you might know, Valerie had very strong views about funerals and didn’t want one. Therefore, we invite you, wherever you happen to be in the world, to raise a glass, or a cup, at 4pm on Saturday 23rd January in her memory to say "Farewell".
