Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Last year our dear friend Mike was diagnosed with myeloma, a form of bone cancer. He was aged 39 at the time. The positivity and stoicism with which he fought this disease can only be described as heroic. He was helped in his battle by the Anthony Nolan Trust who managed to find a stem cell donor so that Mike's only chance of a recovery; a stem cell transplant, could be undertaken. Tragically though Mike lost his battle and died on the 8th of January - less than a year after being diagnosed. He is deeply missed by all those who were lucky enough to have known him. He leaves behind his wife Helen and his four sons.
On the 12th of June Matt and I are taking part in the 10k Two Castles Run from Kenilworth Castle to Warwick Castle and we want to raise funds to support the Anthony Nolan Trust. The Anthony Nolan Trust was the world's first stem cell donor register and helps thousands of people like Mike every year to find a donor and have at least a chance of beating the diseases they are battling. So please give what you feel you can to support this very worthy cause.
