Story
Yes lovely people,
I’m doing it again! Not Kili this time, but, yes, I’m going up another mountain for charity!
n Saturday 12 June 2010, I will be taking part in the WaterAid Munro Challenge. I will part of a team of four friends going up Mullach nan Coirean (Summit of the Corries), one of the Scotland Munros.
For this hard slog I hope to raise a total of £50 from my ever supportive friends and family. In other words, a fiver from just 10 people and I’m more than sorted!
To give you an idea of what your donation could be worth to WaterAid, just £15 enables one person access to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation. £50 is enough for two days of hygiene training in a village in Tanzania. £200 (which is the minimum my team hopes to raise altogether) is enough to buy a locally built rope pump in Mozambique.
The entire donation goes to WaterAid and, if you donate using the link below and are a UK taxpayer, WaterAid will be able to reclaim an extra 28% in tax so your fiver would actually be worth £6.40.

On behalf of WaterAid, thank you very much!
Vera. Ps: For those keen ones you will notice that this challenge is during is the opening weekend of the World Cup and you know how much I enjoy my football (gutted!). So c’mon, get your fivers out!
