Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and for considering sponsoring me.

I am taking part in the London to Brighton Ultra Challenge 2021. It is happening on 29th and 30th May, and will involve walking 100km. The walk starts in London and finishes in Brighton.

I am walking in memory of my husband, and I am fundraising for WAY-Widowed And Young. WAY is a charity that offers peer-to-peer support for people under the age of 50, who have lost their partner/spouse, as well as legal advice, bereavement support and guidance. The charity has been a lifeline for me since losing my husband in November 2019, and I am keen to support them in return by raising much needed funds. There is a team of us undertaking the challenge, but each have our own fundraising targets and motivations.

If the challenge is unable to take place due to covid restrictions then the organisers will postpone to a later date, or arrange for me to transfer onto a comparable/different challenge, so your donations will not go to waste!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
