Hello!!

Thank you for visiting my page! 

In March I will be travelling to Bangladesh with VSO on a 3 month placement. As an organisation, VSO have been asked to send volunteers and help/support to certain community’s around the world. This is why we will be going to one of those communities in Bangladesh. Here we will be focusing on groups who are excluded/ yet to adapt to the social and economic growth within Bangladesh over the years. This includes working alongside communities with extremely poor or marginalised women such as widows, female agricultural day labourers, improverished mother’s and woman of reproductive age. We will also be working with adolescents and youth and in particular focusing on those in poor rural communities facing un/underemployment. As volunteers with VSO, we will also be working with those within indigenous communities, Dalits, those living with or exposed to HIV and AIDS as well as those living with disabilities within the community.

Overall the projects we run within the community will focus on these main areas:

-  Sustainable Livelihood Rights

- Inclusive and Community Health Rights

- Good Governance
