We are taking part in the Just Walk 2011 40km (24 Mile) walk on 7th May 2011 to raise much needed money for a fantastic charity called:

Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research

Their sole aim is to invest in research that brings the most benefit to patients with blood cancers including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Around 28,500 people of all ages, from children and teenagers to adults are diagnosed with a blood cancer in the UK every year. They are determined to give every one of them the best possible chance of survival.

The Walk

The walk should take us between 8 - 9 hours but that estimate is given for good walkers so while we cant promise any timescales we will finish the walk! Hopefully it will still be Sunday when we do! :-)

We are planning to eat a lot of sweets and play many alphabet games (although Ashley may not be aware of this yet... I'll start with an A for Ardvark...)

Your donation, as well as going to a fantastic charity, will also really motivate us to keep training on those dark chilly nights so we really are very grateful for your donations.
